K9 Care and Training is a Kennel Club Listed status club based in West Norfolk. We are running the Kennel club Good Citizen Dog Scheme all year round. Levels are puppy foundation (less than 6 months), bronze, silver and gold levels. All of which will be tested by an outside examiner. You do not have to take the test but it is proof of your progress and attendance at classes and also something to work towards. Tests are informal and take place during a class setting.  We use fun and positive methods focusing on play training.

Exercises for all dogs but at varying levels will include:

Sit, stand and down stays building up to 10 minute stays, Recalls, Emergency Stops, Heel work, Socialisation, street walking, play training, food control, preventing jumping up, scent work, tricks and lots more.

 

 

Classes are held in a secure paddock which means we can practice off lead work safely and at the end of classes sociable dogs can have a quick run around with each other.  Which is a good opportunity to practice your training.
